Our work primarily presents the themes of duality of Invisible-Seen, Fragility-Strenght, Vernacular-Formal, Value-Volume, Local-Global, Private-Public, Nyaya-Niti, Tragedy-Triumph, and Climate-Comfort.

The genre of current affairs influence our motif designs, timeless styles &  presentation sensibilities. The references from the times we live in are performed with an elegant secular optimism.

Nothing impresses Kohbaer more than Modern India as It has been built on reason, experiential knowledge & scientific temperament. Meticulous attention has been given to the field of art, literature, science, research & technology, design, and humanities by the architects of Modern India. Kohbaer’s vision will keep flaunting its intimacy with modern India consciously and constantly be including alternate fabrics with the likes of organic lotus and recycled polyester in the subsequent stories | Work of Scholarship.

Kohbaer is in references like one of the motifs -The Ashoka tree is closely associated with Yakshinis, the gatekeeper. The young girl at the foot of the Ashoka tree is an ancient motif suggesting fertility on the Indian subcontinent. Such interesting references would be joyously acknowledged and celebrated by kohbaer in modern context with secular optimism.

Kohbaer leans on the Constitutional Identity & embeds the Universal Values enshrined in the global public good ie, the Constitution, ie the art, apart from the other finer human existence, keeping the Dignified Individuality in style at par excellence and brings the idea ofthe efficacy of art to the Kohbaer society.

Flora, fauna & man made wonders are employed to interweave stories, describing the social and cultural activities, sometimes with improvisation, theatrics or embellishments and brings context to the subcontinent's heritage of textiles. Kohbaer brings humour to the table by using metaphors of anthropomorphized flora and fauna with human virtues.

Kohbaer presents Stories or Work of Scholarship as Qualifiers & Finals giving academia | institutional vibes which is reminiscent to progress made in a year.

In simplest term, Kohbaer is like visiting  a museum which is partly a social and family experience and not purely educational. Many a time there is tension between the old artefacts, modern architecture, advanced control systems, cafeterias and souvenir shops which encourages the mood for random exploration.

OUR LOGO

The famous carved entrance gate of Barabar Hill Caves, making it the first known Maurya relief inspired our logo. Gates and gatekeepers inspire us to design opportunities. The second element is the blue lotus which embodies wisdom and are a perfect analogy for the human condtition: even when its roots are in dirtiest waters, the lotus produces the most beautiful flower.

Our logo bridges the Mauryan to the Modern times reflecting the vision of Kohbaer.

Our mascot

Susu- The Gangetic Dolphin

A pair of dancing Gangetic dolphins locally called Susu sporting AR headsets is our mascot.
